Local Brat Fry (localbratfry.com) is a community directory for brat fry fundraisers. This page explains how we handle information in plain language. It is not legal advice.
What we collect
- Email address — used to send sign-in links and important notices about your listings or account.
- Listing details you provide — such as title, organization, venue, address, city, state, zip, date and times, timezone, affiliation answer, map pin coordinates, and optional contact name, public phone, description, and external URL. Public fields appear on the site when a listing is live.
- Account and moderation records — for example approved/rejected listing counts and whether an account is active, so we can run trust and review rules.
- Photos — if you upload images later, we store and display them with your listings. You should only upload media you have the right to use.
- Technical data — session cookies needed to keep you signed in, and ordinary server logs (such as IP address and browser user-agent) that hosting typically records for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To operate the directory: sign-in, listing creation/editing, preview, publish/approval, and public find pages.
- To moderate content and protect the community (including reviewing reports and enforcing account limits).
- To contact you about your listings or account when needed.
We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep listing and account records while they are useful for running the service and for moderation history (for example trust counts). You can ask us about updating or removing information you control; some records may be retained when needed for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
Cookies
We use session cookies so verified submitters stay signed in. We do not use a third-party advertising cookie stack on this site today.
